Laura Cesaretti is a freelance journalist based in Afghanistan since 2015. She also works as a Research Consultant for NGOs and private companies.

Previously, she lived and worked in Turkey and Lebanon. She spent significant amount of time also in Pakistan.

She holds an MA in Media and Political Studies (La Sapienza University of Rome), and an MA in International Politics (City University of London).
